Special Notes:
You can copy and save a frequency into
a specified bank, channel, or priority
channel when the scanner finds an
active frequency. See “Using Fre-
quency Copy Function” on Page 24 to
save the frequency. The frequency copy
functions only in search banks 2, 3, 4
and 5.
While the scanner is searching, you can
use the seek search by pressing
FUNC
then

the bottom line. The scanner stops at an
active frequency for five second and
restarts searching automatically. The

Manually Tuning a Frequency
You can manually set the scanner to move

a specific frequency as a starting point.

BAND
The FCC (Federal Communications Com-
mission) has allocated channels for use by
the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Ad-
ministration (NOAA). Regulatory agencies in
other countries have also allocated channels
for use by their weather reporting authorities.
