statements
on the
same
line,
separating them
with the COLON
{:).
Be
careful, not
the
semi-colon.
The Computer reads
them from
left to right, as
though each
were a separate line
number.
Don't
try this trick
with
IF-THEN statements
since there are
some
special
considerations
—
but
with virtually
everything
else we've learned so
far, including
FOR-NEXT loops,
it
works
fine, saves
space, shortens
programs and has a
lot going for it.
