Mechanical damage caused by mounting accessories on the frame or handlebars
(locks, bags, baskets, etc.).
The customer is responsible for the cost of any work associated with repairing or replacing
damaged parts outside the warranty. The warranty does not cover the cost of transporting the
bike to or from a RASCAL Bikes service centre or dealer.
Warranty conditions apply only to RASCAL bicycles sold, assembled, checked and serviced by
an authorized RASCAL Bikes dealer. These RASCAL Bikes warranty terms and conditions
replace all preceding versions unless otherwise stated in this document.
Company RASCAL Bikes is not responsible for any losses, damages or other costs connected
with the use of their products. The liability of RASCAL Bikes is expressly limited to the
replacement of parts or goods, or compensation of an amount equal to the purchase price of
such goods or parts. Any offer of replacement or compensation is subject to warranty
conditions and the decision of RASCAL Bikes.
Frame Warranty
The warranty only applies to manufacturing defects of the frame construction and does not
cover damage to the finish/coating of the frame and related parts. We offer a 2-year warranty
period for the frame (with a 4-year extension when registered on www.rascal-bikes.com), a rigid
fork, and all other components. It does not cover any obvious damage caused by normal wear
and tear, crashes, or misuse of the products (including being used outside of the RASCAL Bike
Intended Use specified above). In the event of a defective frame that conforms with the warranty
conditions, RASCAL Bikes will provide the customer with a new frame of equal or greater value.
The colour and model year of the provided frame do not need to match the original frame.
Warranty Claim Policy
Any work carried out under warranty must be performed by a RASCAL Bikes service centre. The
customer must be able to provide the proof of purchase and a completed claim form. The claim
form can be downloaded on the RASCAL Bikes website or sent via email. The customer covers
the shipping or transport costs to and from the RASCAL Bikes service centre.
Company RASCAL Bikes reserves the right to determine whether the defective product will be
repaired, replaced free of charge or refunded.
In the event of a defective frame that conforms with the warranty conditions, RASCAL Bikes will
provide the customer with a new frame of equal or greater value. The new frame does not need
to match the original purchased model. Company RASCAL Bikes does not cover the cost of
service when replacing the frame if the replacement occurs within one year of the purchase.
If a customer decides to repair the defective product themselves or takes it to an unauthorized
service centre, the company RASCAL Bikes is not responsible for any damages or losses caused
by the intervention of an unauthorized person.
