EN: User Manual for RASCAL Bicycles
Thank you for purchasing a RASCAL bicycle. We hope your child will have fun riding it.
Before the First Ride
When you get your bike in a store, it is fully assembled and ready to be ridden. However, before
the first ride, make sure that:
▼ the saddle, handlebars and pedals are securely tightened,
▼ the height of the saddle and handlebars are set to suit your child's proportions,
▼ the brakes function properly,
▼ the brake levers are easy to reach (if not, adjust them),
▼ the wheels are securely seated in the frame and fork, and spin freely.
▼ the tyres are inflated (see the sidewall for recommended air pressure).
If you had your bicycle delivered, it comes pre-assembled and adjusted. Before the first ride you
need to:
▼ remove all the packaging material from the bike,
▼ mount the front wheel into the fork and tighten the axle bolts,
▼ make sure the cable of the front V-brake is connected,
▼ make sure that the tyres are inflated (see the sidewall for recommended air pressure),
▼ make sure the height of the saddle and handlebars are set to suit your child's
proportions,
▼ mount the left and right pedal as labeled, and tighten them securely.
FOR MORE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS, SEE THE ASSEMBLY MANUAL.
