Troubleshooting Guide
This table is a guide to fault finding. The fault may
be a simple fix. If you have any doubts phone your
dealer.
Symptom
Powerchair does not move.
when power is switched on.
Vehicle pulls to one side.
Vehicle behaves erratically when driven.
or judders or cuts out ?
Short Range
Remember, to save the batteries, the Powerchair
controller has a sleep mode which is activated if the
joystick is not moved for a period of time. Any button
press should restore operation, but, if this does not
work, switch the Powerchair off and then on again.
Remember also that you may have inadvertently
disabled the Powerchair, by locking it (see page 10
for unlocking instructions). Press the power on button,
and then, press it again and your Powerchair should
operate normally. If it does not, repeat this process. If
the Powerchair still fails to function check table above
or contact your dealer.
Your dealer is there to help you but they can only do
this if you give them as much information as possible.
Remember correct information will get the problem
fixed quicker and may save you money. Phone
the dealer and explain exactly what the problem is,
recounting as much detail as possible including the
indicated faults.
