What to do if there is a false alarm from the Ravel RE 150D Control Panel detector?
    • B
      Benjamin BlanchardAug 5, 2025
If you are experiencing false alarms, the detector might be faulty, or the EOL resistor may need checking. First, ensure the AC supply is within 220v±10%. If the issue persists, consider changing the faulty detector.

Why is my Ravel RE 150D showing a hooter fault indication?
    • D
      Denise LopezAug 13, 2025
A hooter fault indication can occur due to an improper connection in the hooter or a loop fault. If no hooter is connected to the output, verify if the EOL resistor is connected. Inspect the loop wiring for shorts or opens using a meter. If the hooter is non-polarized, ensure each hooter’s +ve loop connects to the 1N 4007 diode’s cathode and the hooter –ve loop connects to the anode of the 1N 4007.

What to do if the Ravel Control Panel has no indication?
    • J
      Joseph HallAug 20, 2025
If the panel shows no indication, the issue might be a lack of power. Check both the AC power and the standby power.

What to do if the detector OPEN is not detected by the Ravel RE 150D?
    • M
      Melinda WestAug 27, 2025
If the panel isn't detecting an OPEN detector, the total zone loop current might exceed the rated value. Verify the number of detectors connected in the loop, ensuring the total current doesn't exceed 3mA.
