Safety directions for the start booster
• Thereishighvoltageinthebatteryclips!
Danger to life! Never touch the metal
parts inside the clamps.
• Alwayskeepthestartboosteroutofthe
reach of children.
• Batteriesreleasedangerousoxyhydro-
gen gas during charging. Do not smoke,
and keep naked ames away from the
battery.
• Ifbatteryuidspillsonskinorinthe
eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and
seek medical assistance.
• Onlychargeyourstartboosterwhere
there is adequate ventilation.
• Alwaysfollowtheguidelinesforthecar
and car battery.
• NEVERallowtheredandblackclamps
to come into contact with each other,
or the same piece of metal or other
conductive material.
• Whenconnectingtobatteries,thered
clamp must always be connected to the
batteryspositiveterminal(+)rst.
• DoNOTconnecttheblackclampto
thebatterynegativeterminal(-),butto
the chassis or engine block, as far away
from the battery as possible.
• Donotusevoltageshigherthan12Vfor
charging.
• Thestartboosterisonlyintendedfor
usewith12VDCcircuits.
• Donotuseitasanalternativetoacar
battery.
• Neverexposeyourstartboosterto
direct sunlight, high temperatures or
damp.
• Thestartboosterisdeliveredwitha
partially charged battery, and must be
fully charged before it is used the rst
time.
• Thestartboosterbatteryshouldbe
charged every three to ve months,
regardless of whether it has been used
or not.
• Whendisposingofthestartbooster
battery, you must follow your local
authority rules on electrical appliances
and batteries.
Safety regulations for the compressor
• Donotusethecompressorformore
thantenminutesatatime.Allowthe
compressortocooldownforabout30
minutes before using it again.
• Keeptheventilationopeningsclean
and free of dust and dirt. Make sure that
dust and fumes are not drawn into the
compressor.
• Donotblowcompressedairdirectlyon
to yourself, other people or animals.
Charging
Duringcharging,theon/oswitch(10)
MUST be in the OFF position.
Thebuilt-inoverloadcut-outwillensure
that the start booster cannot overcharge.
Whenyoupressthetestbutton(5),the
chargeindicator(6)willshowthecondition
of the battery:
• Red=0-50%charged
• Green=50-100%charged
Charging from a power socket
1. Connectthecharger(14)tothesocket(7).
2. Putthechargerinthesocketandturn
on the current.
3. Thechargingindicator(6)ashesseveral
times, and the battery charges up.
The charging indicator shows the
condition of the battery continually
(red=0-50%,green=50-100%).
Chargingisstoppedautomatically
when the battery is fully charged.
