Why won't the burner light using the igniter on my Razor Griddle?
    • R
      ryan22Aug 16, 2025
If the burner on your Razor Griddle won't light using the igniter, there are several possible causes: * The LP gas tank valve might be closed. Ensure the regulator is securely attached to the LP gas tank and then turn the LP gas tank valve to the “OPEN” position. * The LP gas tank could be low or empty. Exchange, refill, or replace the LP gas tank. * There might be LP gas present. Turn the LP gas tank valve to “CLOSED,” wait 5 minutes for the gas to clear, and then follow the “Checking for Leaks” section. * The wires or electrode could be covered with cooking residue. Clean the wire and/or electrode with rubbing alcohol. * The electrode and burners might be wet. Wipe them dry with a cloth.

If it is, exchange, refill, or replace the LP gas tank. If the LP gas tank is not empty, refer to “Sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height”. * The LP gas tank might be low or empty. Exchange, refill, or replace the LP gas tank. * There might be LP gas present.
