The camcorder uses a smaller size cassette, but records in standard VHS format. The
cassette adapter allows you to play your VHS-C cassettes in a VCR just like other
standard VHS cassettes.
Insert the VHS-C cassette into the cassette adapter.
Insert the cassette adapter into the
VHS VCR like a normal VHS cassette.
Install the cassette adapter’s
battery.
1. Remove the battery compartment
cover.
2. Install the supplied “AA” battery so
the positive (+) and negative (-) ends
align properly with the (+) and (->
terminals in the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery compartment
cover.
Insert the cassette into the cassette
adapter.
1. Before inserting the cassette into the
adapter, remove any slack in the tape
by turning the tape wheel on the side
of the cassette.

Notes: Replace the battery when the load
time becomes much longer than normal.
Remove the
battery
from the cassette adapter
if it will not be used for a month or more.
This will prevent possible damage from
battery leakage. If leakage occurs, wipe up
the liquid inside the compartment and replace
the battery with a new one.

Slide the EJECT switch to the right to
open the cassette compartment lid.
Insert the
cassette
with the tape
window on the left and facing up.
Allow the cassette to drop into the
adapter. Do not force the cassette.
