OUTPUT CONNECTION
70 / 100 V CONSTANT VOLTAGE OUTPUTS (HIGH IMPEDANCE)
- Each speaker must have a line transformer with the input voltage equal to the line
voltage (70 / 100 V);
- The loudspeakers total power must not be higher than the maximum power the
amplifier can deliver.
LOW IMPEDANCE LINE (4 Ω)
- The loudspeaker total impedance must not be
less than 4 Ω; note: a total impedance equal to 4 Ω
allows the maximum power delivery of the amplifier;
a higher impedance leads to a reduction of the power
delivered (e.g. 8 Ω: approx. ½ power; 16 Ω: approx. ¼
power); an impedance lower than 4 Ohm overloads
the amplifier
- The loudspeaker total power must be suitable to
the maximum power that can be delivered by the
amplifier (120 W with total impedance 4 Ω);
- The length of the loudspeaker lines must be reduced
to the minimum (a long distance may require the use
of cables with large cross-section).
- Do not use the low impedance output (4 Ω)
simultaneously with the high impedance output
(70 V or 100 V), as this overloads the amplifier.
