V. Using the Unit
To Disinfect Device(s)
1. Ensure unit is powered on and has 3 to 4 inches of open space behind it.
2. Once powered on the unit will display the home screen.
3. To disinfect device(s) open the drawer and place the device(s) on the tray.
4. When open, the display will read “DRAWER OPEN”
5. Close drawer to return display to home screen.
6. Once on the home screen press “START” on the display to begin a disinfection cycle.
7. A countdown screen will be displayed until a full disinfection cycle is completed.
8. If a full disinfection cycle is completed the “Disinfection Status Panel” on the home
screen will read, “DISINFECTED” within a green box.
9. If full disinfection cycle is interrupted the “Disinfection Status Panel” will read, “NOT
DISINFECTED” within a red box.
10. Open drawer to remove device(s)
* To stop a disinfection cycle, simply open the drawer.
To access the Setup Screen
1. From the home screen press the setup icon in the bottom left of the screen.
2. Once selected a number keypad will be shown on the display.
3. To access the setting screen enter the appropriate password. The default password is
1 2 3.
4. Once on the setup screen the user will be able to select a desired disinfection cycle
time. The cycle times available are: 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 120 seconds.
5. To pick a cycle time, simply tap the desired time and the dial will move to select that
time.
6. To exit the setup screen press “Save”.
Setting Disinfection time
Lab Results have shown excellent efficacy against live bacteria. Efficacy reports are available
upon request, optimal results have been achieved using the following guidance;
1. 15 seconds for functional testing
2. 30 seconds for most pathogens
3. 90 to 120 seconds to be sporicidal
