It complies with EN 16232: 2013 + A1: 2018 safety standards. The swing's primary function is to soothe and entertain babies, offering various features for comfort and convenience.

Function Description:

The Siesta Swing provides a gentle swinging motion with adjustable speeds and includes built-in melodies to entertain the baby. It features a recline function to adjust the seat position for napping, feeding, or play. The swing can be powered via an AC adapter or batteries, offering flexibility in usage. A remote control is included for convenient operation.

Important Technical Specifications:

• Age/Weight Range: From birth to 6 months, weighing less than 9kg (20lbs). Discontinue use when the child can sit up unaided.
• Power Supply: AC 100-240V – 50/60Hz (adapter output DC 6V/1A) for the swing's control panel. The remote control uses 1x CR2025 3V button battery.
• Swing Speeds: 8 adjustable swing speeds.
• Melodies: 9 built-in melodies with adjustable volume (8 levels).
• Timer Settings: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 minutes.
• Recline Positions: 3 recline positions (lowest for napping, middle for feeding, high for play).

Usage Features:

• Assembly: The swing consists of a large base frame, a small base frame, a swing frame, and a seat and head frame. The base frames connect with two screws. The swing frame tubes slot into the base frame and are released by a red button. The head frame tubes of the seat connect to the swing frame, and the seat wraps around the swing frame tube, secured by two sets of straps.
• Recline Adjustment: A button allows for adjusting the seat to one of three recline positions: lowest for napping, middle for feeding, and high for play.
• Folding for Storage: To fold, gently push the top of the seat forward while pressing the red release button and pulling out the bar.
• Power Connection: Insert the power adapter into the swing's control panel and plug it into a 240V wall socket.
• Harness System: A 5-point harness system (shoulder straps, waist straps, central buckle) is provided to secure the baby. Sliders on the straps allow for a snug and secure fit. Always use the harness.
• Control Panel:
  • Power Button: Turns the swing on/off. Illuminates white when on.
  • Timer Button: Activates the timer function (5 to 40 minutes in 5-minute increments). Use "+" and "-" buttons to select the desired duration.
  • Melodies Button: Starts playing 9 built-in melodies automatically. Press again to skip to the next melody. Press and hold to turn off. The swing remembers the last played melody. Volume can be adjusted using "+" and "-" buttons (8 levels).
  • Swing Speed Button: Activates the swing function. Use "+" and "-" buttons to adjust between 8 swing speeds. Selecting "0" turns off the swing function.
  • Automatic Lock: If the control panel and music are inactive for 1 minute, the system locks automatically. To unlock, simultaneously press the melodies and timer buttons.
• Remote Control: The remote control mirrors the functions of the control panel, including power on/off, timer, melodies, volume control, and swing speed adjustment. It requires pointing directly at the control panel to function. Remember to pull the PVC tab to activate the battery before first use.
• Safety Warnings:
  • Never leave the child unattended.
  • Do not use on an elevated surface (e.g., a table).
  • Not intended for prolonged periods of sleeping; if the child needs to sleep, place them in a cot or bed.
  • Always use the restraint system.
  • Do not move or lift the product with the baby inside it.
  • Do not use once the child can sit up unaided or weighs more than 9 kg.
  • Keep children away when unfolding and folding.
  • Not recommended for children who can sit up by themselves (approx. 6 months, 9kg/20lbs).
  • Never use the toy bar to carry the swing.
  • Do not expose to heat sources like open fires or hot ovens/stoves.
  • Keep children away during set-up and accessory fixing.
  • Never use as a child restraint in any vehicle.
  • Guard trailing electrical flexes.
  • Do not use near stairs or steps.
  • Do not adjust with the baby in the swing.

Maintenance Features:

• General Care: Store in a dry place to prevent mould or mildew. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent premature fading.
• Cleaning:
  • The seat cover and toys are removable and can be washed on a cool, gentle cycle.
  • Metal parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and wiped dry with a soft cloth.
  • Harness, toys, and toy bar can be cleaned with mild soap and water solution, then rinsed and wiped dry.
  • Plastic parts can be cleaned with mild soap and water solution, then rinsed and wiped dry.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.
• Inspection: Regularly check for broken, torn, or missing parts, sharp edges, loose or damaged fittings, and damaged straps/harness attachment points. Stop using the swing immediately if any issues are found.
• Replacement Parts: Only use replacement parts approved by the manufacturer or distributor to avoid invalidating the warranty.
• Battery Information (for remote control):
  • Batteries must be installed by an adult.
  • Keep batteries and tools out of reach of babies and children.
  • Remove spent batteries to avoid leakage and damage.
  • Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for a long period.
  • Use only alkaline batteries of the recommended type.
  • Do not mix new and old or different types of batteries.
  • Ensure correct polarity when fitting new batteries.
