How to turn on my Reebok Treadmill?
    • J
      Jeff EricksonJul 30, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is correctly plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Note that the Reebok Treadmill is not compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, after plugging in the power cord, make sure that the key is inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset it, wait five minutes, then press the switch back in.

If your Reebok Treadmill turns off during use, check the reset/off circuit breaker. If it has tripped, wait five minutes, then press the switch back in to reset it. Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and then plug it back in. Another solution is to remove and reinsert the key from the console.

Why is the walking belt off-center or slipping on my Reebok 8000 C RBTL06008.0 Treadmill?
    • K
      Kevin YatesAug 9, 2025
If the walking belt is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it shifted right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Be careful not to overtighten the belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until centered. If the walking belt slips when walked on, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. When correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.

How to fix a Reebok 8000 C RBTL06008.0 Treadmill walking belt that slows down when I walk on it?
    • J
      James JacksonAug 13, 2025
First, make sure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the necessary specifications. Also, if the walking belt is overtightened, it can decrease performance. To resolve this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.

Why is the incline not changing correctly on my Reebok 8000 C RBTL06008.0 Treadmill?
    • C
      courtneyfryeAug 19, 2025
To recalibrate the incline system on your Reebok Treadmill, insert the key into the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.

What to do if Reebok 8000 C RBTL06008.0 Treadmill console display stays on after removing the key?
    • X
      xdunlapAug 25, 2025
If the console displays remain lit after removing the key from your Reebok Treadmill, the console may be in display demo mode, which is designed for store displays. To turn off the demo mode, hold down the Stop button for a few seconds.
