IBefore Using Your Breadmaker
IMPORTANTSAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be
followed including the following:
I. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug
or appliance in water or other liquids.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Always use
pot holders or oven mitts to handle hot bread pan or hot bread.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow
to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
6. Avoid contacting moving parts.
7. D9 not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
a_ter the appliance malfunctions or has been damagedin any
manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the
appliance manufacturer. This may cause fire, electrical shock or
injury.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
11. Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner
or in a I_eated oven.
12. To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never pull on
the cord.
13. Do not use appliance for other than its intended use.
14. This product is intended for household use only.
SAVETHESE INSTRUCTIONS
NOTICE: A short cord is provided to reduce the risks of becoming
tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be
used if care is exercised in their use and the wattage rating is at least
as great as the wattage stamped on the base of the appliance. If an
extension cord is used, it should be arranged so that it will not drape
over the counter or tabletop where it can be reached by children or
tripped over accidentally.
