Why won't my Remington RM2530 Trimmer engine start?
    • C
      Carol ThomasAug 5, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Remington Trimmer engine from starting: * The fuel tank might be empty. If this is the case, fill the fuel tank with properly-mixed fuel. * You may have not pressed the primer bulb enough. Press the primer bulb 10 times or until fuel is visible. * The engine could be flooded. Move the choke lever to Position 3, squeeze the throttle control and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. * The fuel might be old (over 30 days) or improperly mixed. Drain the fuel tank and add fresh, properly-mixed fuel. * The spark plug could be fouled. If so, replace the spark plug.
