Engine coolant level
The level when cold must be
betweentheMINIandMAXImarks
indicated on the expansion bottle 1.
Topupthiswhen cold level before it
reaches the MINI mark.
No operations may be
carried out on the
cooling circuit when the
engine is hot.
Risk of burns.
Checking intervals
Check the coolant level regularly
(severe damage is likely to be
caused to the engine if it runs out of
coolant.)
If topping up is required, only use
products approved by Renault's
Technical Department:
- Anti-freeze protection;
- Anti-corrosion protection of the
cooling system.
Consult your Renault Dealer at
once if you notice an abnormal
or repeated drop in the level.
Frequency of oil change
Refer to the Servicing booklet for
your car.
Average capacities

1.2 litre engine: 4.5 litres
1.2 litre 16V engine: 5.0 litres
1.4 litre engine: 5.7 litres
1.4 litre 16 V engine: 5.7 litres
1.5 litre dCi engine: 5.0 litres
