– If engine ON and the vehicle is
stationary, it is recommended to keep
the brake pedal in pressed condition.
Towing your automated manual
transmission vehicle
If the gear is engaged in R/D,
– Switch on the ignition.
– Press brake pedal.
– Select neutral (N).
– Release Brake pedal.
– Check that gear engaged in “N” by
ensuring permanent display of letter N
in cluster.
– Turn OFF ignition.
– If neutral is not engaged and no
indication in cluster,must tow the
vehicle with the front wheels raised.
Stopping the vehicle
The vehicle can be stopped by
pressing the brake pedal regardless of
gear position This is because, clutch is
automatically disengaged to prevent
the engine from stopping.
