Fit tool Mot. 1496, on the ends of the camshafts.
Remove the old nut from the pulley, the old bolt
from the dephaser and replace them with a new
nut and bolt (leave a clearance of 0.5 - 1 mm
between the nut or the bolt and the camshaft
pulleys).
Check that the crankshaft is resting on the Top
Dead Centre pin and not in the balancing hole
(crankshaft groove (5) upwards).
