18.DTMF ID
Check the ID code and version of DTMF. If not set, the DTMF ID code displays: ID: .
a.Press the Menu key to enter the menu, press the UP or DOWN key to choose Radio Setting, and press the
Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
b.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose DTMF ID, and press the Menu key to check the DTMF ID code and
current version information.
19.Weather
Weather function is available for use in the USA and Canada based on needs.
Users can receive weather channels (details in the weather channel and frequency table). When users receive
the weather channel, they can’t scan or communicate.
NOAA and Canada's environmental sector have transmitters in the USA and Canada. The transmitters
broadcast within 24 hours, precast, and other information.
a.Press the Menu Key to enter the menu, press the UP or DOWN key to choose Radio Setting, and press the
Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
b.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose Reset, and press the Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
c.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose 1-11 weather channels.
d.Press the Menu key to conrm and save.
20.Weather Warning
Radio can be set to respond NOAA broadcast emergencies quickly. A special warning tone will send the alarm
sound and turn on the weather receiver to oer instant weather and emergency information. If you turn on
the function, will display.
a.Press the Menu Key to enter the menu, press the UP or DOWN key to choose Radio Setting, and press the
Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
b.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose Reset, and press the Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
c.Press the UP or DOWN key to ON or OFF.
d.Press the Menu key to conrm and save.
