CHANNEL SETTING
1.SQL
OFF: Squelch is always on, 1-9 levels are optional. Level 1 is the smallest, and level 9 is the biggest.
a.Press the Menu key to enter the menu, press the UP or DOWN key to choose Channel Setting, and press the
Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
b.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose SQL, and press the Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
c.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose OFF, or 1-9 level.
d.Press the Menu key to conrm and save.
2.TX POWER
TX power: High power or low power is optional.
a.Press the Menu key to enter the menu, press the UP or DOWN key to choose Channel Setting, and press the
Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
b.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose TX Power, and press the Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
c.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose high power or low power.
d.Press the Menu key to conrm and save.
3.COMPAND
ON: Reduce the environmental noise eectively; OFF: Turn o normal background noise (Contacts or radios
need to turn on the function)
a.Press the Menu key to enter the menu, press the UP or DOWN key to choose Channel Setting, and press the
Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
b.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose COMPAND, and press the Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
c.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose ON or OFF.
d.Press the Menu key to conrm and save.
4.W/N
Wideband: 25KHz, Narrowband: 12.5KHz.
a.Press the Menu key to enter the menu, press the UP or DOWN key to choose Channel Setting, and press the
Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
b.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose W/N, and press the Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
c.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose wideband or narrowband.
d.Press the Menu key to conrm and save.
5.BUSY LOCK
OFF: Allow transmission; Signaling: Current signaling mode can’t transmit; Carrier: Can’t transmit when
receiving the carrier signal.
a.Press the Menu key to enter the menu, press the UP or DOWN key to choose Channel Setting, and press the
Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
b.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose BUSY LOCK, and press the Menu key to enter the next-level menu.
c.Press the UP or DOWN key to choose OFF, Signaling, or Carrier.
d.Press the Menu key to conrm and save.
6.Oset Freq Direction
OFF: Frequency value is invalid. ON: + is the increased frequency value; - is the decreased
