What is the Revive Smart Scale?
A “smart scale” that measures weight, body mass index (BMI), basal metabolic rate (BMR), body fat %, and lean body
mass for up to 16 users. The Revive Smart Scale is “smart” because it uses the Bluetooth™ connection on your mobile
device to store your data in the Revive app.
How does the Smart Scale work?
The Revive Smart Scale uses bioelectrical impedance or the resistance of your body tissues to the flow of a small,
harmless electrical signal. Opposition to the electrical current through body tissues can determine a user’s total body
water, which is used to calculate the five body composition metrics the scale measures.
How does the Smart Scale identify users?
The Revive Smart Scale compares the weight of a user to weights of previous users; if a second user is within 5% of the
first user’s weight, the Revive Smart Scale will ask the user to verify if he or she is the first user or a new user. For
example, Bobby is the first user on the Revive Smart Scale and weighs 180 pounds. Bobby’s brother, Craig, then uses
the Revive Smart Scale and weighs 189 pounds. The Revive Smart Scale will ask Craig if he is Bobby OR a new user.
What can I do to ensure the most accurate results on the scale?
For best results, weigh yourself without socks or shoes at approximately the same time each day. Make sure to use
the scale on a flat, level, and hard surface such as hardwood floor or bathroom tile. Weight fluctuations are normal
(and okay!) therefore, we recommend weighing yourself regularly, and over a long period of time to assess your
health over time.
Are there limitations on Revive Smart Scale user’s age and weight?
The Revive Smart Scale is designed for people weighing between 20 and 330 pounds; no age restrictions.
Limitations
• Smart Scale may get confused if there are multiple users who are very close in weight.
• Issues with syncing may occur if users are close in physical proximity.
• Requires Bluetooth™ (must have mobile device and app open to sync data).
• Only able to store data from one Revive Smart Scale for each user.
Scale Symbols and Maintenance
Symbols
1. BF symbol on the scale represents the Body Fat %.
2. Bluetooth™ icon on the scale indicates connection to mobile device when syncing weight and other data.
3. LB/KG represents weight measurement unit.
4. Battery indicator will show when battery is low and needs to be replaced.
Maintaining scale
1. The Revive Smart Scale uses four AAA batteries (included).
2. Clean your scale with a soft and slightly damp (not wet) non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Make sure not to get
water on your scale as this can cause damage to the device.
