WLAN Region
Lets you change your global location if you
move your AXiS to a new region. As your
network will doubtless change anyway in this
instance, we would recommend simply using
the Network Wizard to add a new network.
Current Settings
Shows you the full details of your currently
active network setup. Potentially useful
for troubleshooting, the info displayed
here includes IP addresses and MAC
addresses related to your AXiS’s network.

Network Settings
AXiS will attempt to ease the process of
connecting to your local area network
the rst time you use it to access one of
the internet modes. If you wish to view or
change these preferences manually, you
can do so via the Network Settings menu,
where you’ll see the following headings:
• Network Wizard
• WPS Push Button Setup
• Network Proles
• Manual Settings
• Current Settings
• WLAN Region
Network Wizard
This utility greatly simplies the setup of
AXiS’s internet connection by leading
you step-by-step through a largely
automated network setup process.
Please see page 10 for more details.
WPS Push Button Setup
Is useful if you want to pair your AXiS
with a router that uses WPS security.
Network Proles
AXiS stores a list of wireless networks
it has connected to and automatically
tries to connect to any one of them
which it can nd within range.
You can check details of these saved
networks and easily delete any unwanted
connections by clicking “Network Proles”.
There’s also a link here to the network
wizard, if you wish to add a new prole.
Note: you cannot delete the
currently active network prole.
Manual Settings
For advanced users, the Manual Settings
option walks you through a detailed
and customisable 11-step process to
add a new wireless network prole.
