Problem: Burner will not light using igniter. Possible Cause: Wires or electrode covered with cooking residue, bad igniter.

Flame Out and Flare-up Issues

Problem: Flame goes out. Possible Cause: High or gusting winds, Low on LP Gas. Problem: Flare-up. Cause: Grease buildup, Excess fat in meat.

Flame Output and Gas Flow Problems

Problem: Burner will not light with match. Possible Cause: Coupling nut and regulator not fully connected. Problem: Sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height.

Grease Fires and Flashbacks

Problem: Persistent grease fire. Cause: Grease trapped by food buildup. Problem: Flashback (fire in burner tube(s)). Cause: Burner and/or burner/venturi tube are blocked.
