Following

Erase
attenuation,
crosstalk,

stereo (

be
taken
with
a
selective

band
width
less

Hz ).
To
measure
erase
attenuation,
a
frequency
of
about
1000
Hz
is
recorded
and
consecutively
erased.
The
record
remai-
ning
on
the
tape
is
then
measured.
