Positions of the automatic
Gear knob
To change the position of the selector lever from "P"/"N" to "R" or back, the ignition must be switched on. Press the foot brake all the way down.
You can change between "N", "D" and "S" without applying the brake.
P = Parking position: Press the brake and turn the shift lever fully to the left. The transmission is locked, and the vehicle cannot be moved..
R = Reverse Press the brake and turn the shift lever to the next position to the right to engage the "R" driving mode. Only shift into "R" when
the trike is stationary. Never while the trike is moving.
N = Neutral position Turn the shift lever to the next position to the right. Idle, vehicle can be pushed.
D = Drive mode 1Turn the gearshift lever to the next position to the right. The "forward drive" transmission mode is designed for optimum fuel
consumption.
S = Driving mode 2Turn the shift lever fully to the right. Only in "S" driving mode can the gear be shifted manually using the power shifter on
the handlebars. If you want to switch back to automatic shift mode, switch back to driving mode "D".
