Why is my RHINO Lawn Mower not cutting?
- SStephanie Blanchard MDAug 15, 2025
Your RHINO Lawn Mower might not be cutting due to several reasons. The blades could be dull, requiring sharpening or replacement. The blade rotation might be incorrect, so ensure you're using the correct blade for the carrier. The carrier RPM could be too low, in which case you should increase the PTO speed. The mower might not be leveled, so adjust the machine level, keeping it slightly lower in the front in heavy weeds. The tires could be mashing down the grass; use an offset adapter to move the mower to the left. The ground speed might be too fast, so reduce it. The blades could be locked back, requiring you to free them. Bolt wear could be a factor, necessitating blade bolt replacement, or the blades might be bent up, in which case they need replacement.
