What to do if Ricoh 700 Controller says 'An unformatted disk was detected'?

  If the Ricoh Controller displays 'An unformatted disk was detected', it means the controller detected an unformatted hard disk when powered on. You can format the hard disk by touching the [Yes] key. Alternatively, touch the [No] key to cancel formatting and switch the machine to online mode. Note that if the message reappears, the hard disk requires formatting. Formatting will delete any fonts installed on the hard disk.

  If the Ricoh Controller displays 'Exceeded max. number of sample print jobs. Job download has been canceled,' it means the maximum number of sample print jobs (or pages) has been exceeded (maximum is 30). Press [Exit] and delete unnecessary data from the 'Sample Print Jobs' list.

  If the Ricoh Controller displays 'Empty Hole Punch receptacle', it means the punch trash is full, and the print job is still in punch mode. You should dump the punch trash.
