7. Unplug 1 x and 5 x securing the ADF assembly.
8. Remove the ADF motor assembly [H] from the ADF lower assembly [I].
NOTE: It is not necessary to disassemble the ADF unit if replacing only the
separator pad. In these cases, perform the following:
1) Open the ADF cover and remove the pick-up assembly.
2) Using a pair of tweezers or a small flat-bladed screwdriver, release the clips
on both sides of the ADF separator pad assembly.
3) Remove the ADF separator pad assembly from the machine.
