- A Copy job with a large amount of originals is performed
- Following this, the user presses the "Reset" key or accesses the All Job Stop
screen
3. The Quick Scan app may freeze under the following conditions:
- Scanning is set to display the Preview at the same time the data is being stored
- The user displays the Preview after scanning is completed
4. Reception error may occur with W-NET FAX.
5. Even if the device is configured to restrict users from registering a destination in the
address book, as shown below, a user can still register a destination by using the
Scan to Folder Helper application:
- "System Settings > Administrator Tools > Extended Security > Restrict User of
Destination (Fax)" set to "ON".
- "System Settings > Administrator Tools > Extended Security > Restrict User of
Destinations (Scanner)" set to "ON".
6. When Simplified Chinese characters are included in the additional email information,
username, password, a destination folder name, or a filename for SMB/NCP, the
connection is unsuccessful, the data transmission fails, or the body of the email
contains garbled text.
7. When a print job or scan job is being executed, the System Auto Reset timer might
not be set.
Symptom corrected:
1. If an address book entry for a user's title information that includes both "Frequent"
and "optional title" is imported to the device by using Device Manager NX, the user's
title from the address book does not display correctly on the device operation panel.
2. In wireless LAN environments, when A-MSDU is enabled, the device cannot receive
packet data that is more than 2,048 bytes.
3. When trying to establish an ad-hoc connection among three or more devices, the
third and subsequent devices cannot connect.
4. The device cannot communicate when using the WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) function.
5. In wireless LAN environments, when large volume printing is being conducted, the
job is cancelled in the middle of printing.
6. In wireless LAN environments, when the authentication methods WPA2 and
A-MPDU are enabled, printing might take a significant amount of time.
7. When the threshold for fragmentation is set in the access point settings, the MFP/LP
will fail to receive the packet data if the computer sends data that is larger than the
threshold that is set.
8. When scanning with "Hungarian" or "Polish" selected under "Cognitive Language" in
"OCR Settings", if the value of a Unicode character exceeds 256, then the character
will be converted to a question mark ("?").
9. In the case that access logs are enabled, if the maximum amount of logs is reached,
authentication will become slow on devices with CAP v2 (Hybrid mode) installed.
10. When the normal scan application (not Quick Scan) is used on a device with CAP v2
(Hybrid mode) installed, an authentication dialog will be displayed and the user will
not be able to use the device.
11. Users sometimes may not be able to log in or log out of devices with CAP v2 (Hybrid
mode) installed.
