2. Alert message is displayed under the following condition in firmware update screen
on operation panel.
- As for firmware, which can install on MFP, Different part number for firmware
exists in SD card from the one of firmware installed in MFP.
- Different part number for firmware is selected from the one of firmware installed
on MFP in the firmware update screen.
3. The following SP has been added in order that low power mode is available.
- SP5101-104 (low power mode entry setting): off (default)
- SP5101-004 (low power mode entry time setting): when SP5101-104 is on, this
setting is available.
- SP5101-008 (energy saver mode Key to Change Mode): in user tool, sleep
mode or low power mode is selectable.
Symptom corrected:
1. SC899 with a code "fcs" on SC Detailed Info of SMC may occur when a machine
recovery from sleep mode.
This firmware correction is dependent on the following firmware modules.
Please be sure to update it:
Java VM v11.12.01 or later
2. When a machine send or receive high volume job with continuous it may be stalled.
3. A machine does not detect USB memory without encryption function after USB
memory with encryption function was inserted.
4. When summer time setting is on at southern hemisphere, day and time may delay.
5. A machine does not detect when USB memory is inserted to SD slot on the
operation panel.
6. Login and Logout is not performed when authentication setting is failed at program
registration setting.

Symptom Corrected:
1. [Embedded RC Gate]: "@Remote certificate updating..." is displayed and @Remote
communication is suspended if SSL communication with a router or proxy server was
suspended due to no response or detection of the RESET signal.
Note: A certificate update indicates that a request to update the certificate was sent
to the @Remote Center instead of performing the retry process.
IMPORTANT: To apply the above corrections, make sure to install the following
firmware as well:
Network Support: v12.70.2 or later
2. None of the machine hard keys respond after the machine recovers from the Job
Stop alert message via the auto-reset timer.
3. When Chinese characters are included in the login user name, it might fail to
authenticate on the device.
This firmware is dependent on the following firmware modules.
Please be sure to update all of them:
Scanner firmware v01.02 or later
