Test 2:
The same test was repeated using a Fluke 80i-110s AC/DC Current Probe in ‘High Current’ mode.
Results:
The power at the first voltage and current intercept was around 500 Watts.
The current peaked at over 100 Amps.
(Happily, it is only for about 50 microseconds.)
