REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND MINOR REPAIRS
Chain Tension
Incorrect chain tension can damage the chain discs, bearings,
sprockets or the chain itself. In the worst case, the chain may break
or jump over the sprockets, which might lead to traffic accidents.
Adjustment to the chain tension shall follow:
1. Loosen the axle nut (

2. Loosen the lock nut (

)
3. Turn the adjusting screw (

) to set the correct tension.
4. When there is no load on the vehicle, the chain tension
should be 5-10mm (4)
5. Tighten in reverse order.
Tightening torque
Rear axle nut(1) : 85 - 95 Nm
Battery
The vehicle is equipped with a maintenance-free battery
WARNING:
Never open the battery, which would be dangerous and would
permanently and severely damage the battery.
