  If the ceramic glass pane of your RIKA Stove soots up too quickly, it could be due to several factors: * **Poor draft:** Discuss with a chimney sweep or maintenance engineer about raising the chimney or fitting a chimney cap. * **Incorrect regulation:** Adjust the air damper according to the operating instructions. If the secondary air is closed off, the glass pane will soot up quickly. * **Too much fuel:** Refer to the item “Max. fuel quantities”. * **Wet wood:** Use uniformly dry wood briquettes instead. * **Wrong fuel:** Note that glass panes dirty quicker when using coal briquettes compared to wood. Clean the glass pane using a special glass cleaner.

Consult with a chimney sweep or maintenance engineer to raise the chimney or fit a chimney cap if necessary. Ensure the air damper is correctly adjusted according to the operating instructions. If the secondary air is closed off, the glass pane will soot up very quickly. Also, consider using wood briquettes, as they are uniformly dry. Note that glass panes tend to get dirty quicker when using coal briquettes compared to wood.
