58 Rinnai Tankless Water Heater Installaon and Operaon Manual
The water heater can deliver water at only one temperature seng at a me. The available temperatures are provided
below. A temperature lower than 98° F (37° C) can be obtained at the tap by mixing with cold water.
To change the temperature scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa, press and hold the “On/O” buon on the
controller for 5 seconds while the water heater is OFF.
* These models have a default maximum temperature of 120° F (49° C) and an opon to increase the maximum temperature to 140 °F (60 °C).

Available Temperatures with an Internal Controller
4.4 Performance Data
** These sengs require the installaon of the MCC-91-2 controller. When the MCC-91-2 controller is connected, these higher temperatures
are available on all controller models in the system. Use of an MCC-91-2 controller in a residenal dwelling will reduce the warranty coverage
to that of a commercial warranty applicaon.
To Obtain Performance Data:
1. Press and hold the
(Down) buon.
2. While holding the (Down) buon for 2 seconds,
press and hold the “On/O” buon (hold both buons
simultaneously).
3. Use the (Up) and (Down) buons to scroll to the
desired informaon described in the Performance
Data Table.
4. To exit performance data, repeat step 2 above.
5. When complete, the set temperature appears in the
display.
