Rival 1101E - Cleaning and Maintenance; Cleaning Slicer Parts

TO CLEAAN
All slicing parts remove for cleaning. Unplug slicer from outlet.
Wash with a soft cloth or sponge, and a mild soap or a spray cleaner.
Rinse and dry. NEVER USE STEEL WOOL OR SCOURING
POWDER ON ANY PART OF YOUR SLICER. Food Tray, Thickness
Guide and Food Grip can be washed on top rack of dishwasher.
DO NOT WASH BLADE IN DISHWASHER.
BLADE
To remove, place left forefinger in
center of Blade. With right hand,
unscrew and remove Thumb Nut (as
shown).
Push
out
Threaded Shaft
and
remove. Tap Blade forward against
palm
of
hand
to
separate
it from
Gear
Housing.
Insert
forefinger
into center
of
Blade and carefully ift off.

FOOD TRAY
The Locking Tab which holds the
Food Tray is made of Delrin®-a
tough, flexible material. To remove the
Food Tray, first make sure Thickness
Guide is on thickest setting. Then slide
Food Tray completely to the rear.
Grasp the front edge with the left hand
and the rear with the right hand (as
shown). Lift the front edge until it snaps
Out.
To
replace,
insert
locking
tab
into
track and
press
down
firmly
on
Food
Tray.
