Slicer
on
any
flat,
smooth
surface
which is
clean
and
dry.
2.
Position
Slicer
in
front
of
you
so
that Food Tray
is
to
your
left,
Thickness
Regulator
Knob
is
to
your
right.
3.
Switch
should
be
in
"Off" position.
Be
sure
Thumb
Nut
which
holds
Blade
in
place
is
tightened.
The
Food
Tray
should glide smoothly
on
Track.
(When
new,
Track
may
need
a few
drops
of
salad
oil.)

Place food
on
Food Tray; pull
toward
you,
away
from
Blade.
Slip
Food
Grip
on
back
edge
of
Food
Tray
(as
shown).
Some
extra
long
or
large
foods,
such
as
slab
bacon
and
brisket,
should
be
trimmed
to
fit
platform.
THICKER

Set
Thickness
Guide
for
size
of
slice
desired.
Turn
Thickness
Regulator
Knob
clockwise
for
thicker
slices
(up
to
"
thick),
counterclockwise
for
thinner
slices.
6.
Place a plate or a
piece
of
waxed
paper
or
aluminum
foil
on
counter-top
under
Slicer
to
catch
the
food.
