This document describes the ROBAM Combi Steam Oven, model KZTS-22-CT752, a multi-functional kitchen appliance designed for household use. It integrates steaming, baking, and air frying capabilities, offering a versatile cooking experience.
The Combi Steam Oven provides a range of cooking modes to cater to diverse culinary needs. These include various steam modes (nutritious steam, fresh steam, high-temperature steam), baking modes (wind baking, humidifying baking, air frying), and auxiliary modes such as defrost, ferment, keep warm, clean, dry, sterilize, and descaling. The appliance features a control panel with dedicated keys for multi-stage cooking, recipes, lamp, assist, shift, and setting adjustments, along with a temperature and time display area. It also boasts a cooking memory function, allowing it to remember the last used cooking mode (except multi-stage mode) even after power cycling. A notable feature is the built-in 30 automatic recipes for convenient one-key cooking.
The appliance is classified as a Class I appliance, meaning it must be grounded when in use for safety.
Pre-use Instructions: Before first use, the oven should be run through a multi-segment mode (fresh steam for 20 minutes, wind roast for 30 minutes) to eliminate any odor from the protective coating. The inner liner should then be wiped clean with a moist rag. Water Tank: The water tank automatically pops up when the dedicated key is pressed. Users should ensure the tank is clean and free of foreign objects before filling it with water (not boiling water) up to the maximum level line. The display will flash "E" to indicate water shortage or if the tank is not properly installed. Cooking Modes: Users can select desired cooking modes using "<" or ">" keys. Temperature and time can be adjusted via the "Setting" key. After setting, pressing "OK/Pause" starts the preheat mode. Once preheat temperature is reached, food can be placed inside, and "OK/Pause" is pressed again to start cooking. Multi-stage Mode: This allows setting two different cooking modes sequentially to achieve varied tastes. Recipes: The oven has 30 pre-programmed recipes. Users can select a recipe, adjust the working time within a certain range, and start cooking with a single key press. Auxiliary Modes: These modes (defrost, ferment, keep warm, clean, dry, sterilize, descaling) are selected similarly to cooking modes. Note that temperature and time cannot be adjusted for keep warm, cleaning, drying, sterilization, and descaling modes. For descaling, the agent should be poured directly onto the heating plate. Adjust Settings: During operation, settings can be changed by pressing "OK/Pause" to stop, making adjustments, and then pressing "OK/Pause" again to resume. Lighting: The internal lighting can be turned on or off with a dedicated key and will automatically turn off after a few minutes if not manually switched off. Power-off: The oven enters standby after cooking is finished or automatically shuts down after a few minutes of inactivity. During operation, a long press of the "ON/OFF" key will stop heating and power off the appliance. If the internal temperature is high, the cooling fan may run for a period to extend machine life; opening the door completely can shorten heat dissipation time. Rack Placement: Steam baking trays and frying racks can be placed on shelf tracks 1, 2, and 3. For foods with liquid dripping, the frying grid is recommended on track 2 with the steaming grill pan on track 1. Frying grids are recommended for steamed food on track 2. For pastries, the fryer grill on track 1 with a recommended temperature of 150°C. Rectifier/Heating Tray: When using steam mode with the fairing, it must be placed on top of the heating plate as shown in the diagram.
The appliance should be cleaned after each use to prevent fat and grease accumulation.
