Connecting

Piston and
piston pin
Procedures
(1)
Scrape off the carbon deposit
from the piston top and cylinder.
(2)
Remove the connecting rod bolts
and the large end cap.
(3)
Turn the crankshaft to the top
dead center.
Then, push the connecting rod
up and pull the piston and
connecting rod out from the
cylinder.
(

Remove the two clips from the
piston at the both ends
of
piston
pin.
(2)
Push the piston pin out from the
piston.
Remove the piston from the
connecting
rod.
(3)
Remove the piston rings from
the piston by spreading their
open ends.

Remarks
Be careful not to give
damages to the
piston and connecting
rod.
Be careful not
to
break the rings by
spreading too much
or twisting them.
