Stator
! (1) Remove the stator.
!
Full out the stator from the front cover
by lightly tapping the outside of the
core with a plastic hammer. (See Fig. 10
11.) If the stator
does
not come out,
insert a screwdrive between the front
cover and stator, and twist it. (See Fig.
I
10-12.)
i (2) Separate the stator and rear cover.
Separate the connector and wire.
Rush the terminal locks in the con-
nector with a pm having a needle-like
sharp point, and remove the terminals,
(See Fig. lo- 13.)

sever hammer the wind-
ings and leads.
Be careful not to peel the
stator steel sheets.
It is not necessary to
separate the stator and
rear cover except when re-
placing the stator, rear
cover, or diode stack.
