Rainy weather condions cause poorer grip,
braking, and field of vision of all road users.
Therefore, in wet condions, the braking force of
your braking system significantly decreases, and
the tyres have significantly lower tracon than in
dry condions. In order to maintain control of your
bike in such condions, it is important to maintain
lower speeds and begin braking earlier and
gradually.
Riding your bike at dawn, in the dark, at night or in
other mes with poor visibility without proper
bicycle lights and reflectors is dangerous and could
result in severe bodily harm or death. In such
condions, cyclists are less noceable to other
road users, and this requires a higher level of
precauon. In order to ensure opmum safety, the
proper use of bicycle lights (front and rear light),
reflecng parts, and reflecng clothing (e.g.
reflecng strips, clothing, helmets) is required.
Before using your bike, make sure that your
clothing and transported items do not cover the
reflectors and lights.
