7. Sound Check
This is for checking the on-board speaker, PHONES/OUTPUT jack.

1. Connect the headphones to the PHONES/OUTPUT jack.

Confirm that no sound is coming out from the on-board speaker and
headphones.
2. Press to advance to the next sound check.

Confirm that sounds are coming out from the on-board speakers (L/R)
and headphones (L/R).
3. Press to advance to the next sound check.

Confirm that sounds are not coming out from the on-board speakers (L/
R) but are coming out from the headphones (L/R).
4. Press to advance to the next sound check.

Confirm that no sound is coming out from the on-board speaker (L/R)

5. Press to advance to the next sound check.

10. Press to advance to the next sound check.

11. Connect the audio player to the INPUT jack.

Play back the audio player, and confirm that sounds are not coming out
from the on-board speakers (L/R) but are coming out from the
headphones (L/R).
12. Stop the playback, and disconnect the audio cable and headphones.
13. Press MENU to advance to the next test item.
8. USB
This checks the USB COMPUTER connector.

The display shows -- -- -- --.
1. Connect the USB COMPUTER connector with the computer via USB
cable, and confirm that CNCT is shown on the display.

2. Disconnect the USB cable and confirm the display retuning to -- -- -- --.
3. Press MENU to advance to the next test item.
