TONE SELECTION
a) Choose the desired Tone from the
Tone Group Chart (13) printed on
the front panel. Let us select 'Flute
22', for example. (This Tone belongs
to Group 'b'.)
b) Press the GROUP button (36)
until the letter ‘b’ (indicating the
Tone Group) appears in the first
field of the displav. The TONE LED
(22) will light.
c) Enter the number '22' using the
Tone Select buttons (37). In the
second and third fields of the
display, the number ‘22’ will appear.
Now when you play the keyboard
you will hear a lovely flute sound!
d) If you wish to add a vibrato*
effect to the flute sound, press the
MODULATION lever (10) as you
play the note.
(*Vibrato is a gentle pitch
fluctuation that adds to the flute
sound's realism).
e) If you wish to add Pitch Bends**
to the notes you play, simply move
the PITCH SHIFT lever (10) to the
right or to the left as you play a
note.
(** Pitch Bend is a playing technique
musicians use to temporarily raise
or lower the pitch of a note being
played).
f) You can further enhance any Tone
by adding chorus and/or reverb by
pressing the EFFECT CHORUS and
REVERB buttons (28/27). Chorus
and reverb simulate effects that add
depth and width to your music.
Using the above procedure and
techniques, you can enjoy all 128
Tones residing in Groups ‘A’ and 'b'.

a) Suchen Sie den gewünschten
Klang zuerst in der Tabelle (13) auf
der Frontplatte. Als Beispiel wollen
wir hier den Klang ‘Flute 22’
anwählen (der sich in der b-Gruppe
befindet).
b) Driicken Sie den GROUP-taster
(36), bis der Buchstabe ‘b’ (der sich
auf die Klanggruppe bezieht) im
ersten Feld des Displays erscheint.
Die TONE-LED (22) leuchtet nun.
c) Geben Sie die Zahl ‘22’ mit den
TONE-Wahltastern (37) ein. Diese
Zahl erscheint nun im zweiten und
dritten Display-Feld.
Spielen Sie ein paar Noten auf dem
Manual, um sich die bezaubernde
Flöte anzuhören.
d) Wenn Sie hier und da ein wenig
Vibrato* hinzufügen möchten,
müssen Sie den MODULATION-
Hebel (10) nach hinten drücken,
während Sie eine oder mehrere
Noten spielen. (*Vibrato ist eine
periodische Tonhöhenschwankung,
die den Flötenklang noch
überzeugender macht.)
e) Außerdem könnten Sie bestimmte
Noten beugen (Pitch Bend**), indem
Sie den PITCH SHIFT-Hebel (10)
nach links oder rechts schieben,
während Sie eine Note spielen.
(**Pitch Bend ist eine Technik, die
verwendet wird, um die Tonhöhe der
gespielten Noten kurz zu erhöhen
oder zu senken.)
f) Um das Klangbild abzurunden,
könnten Sie den Klang mit Chorus
oder Hall versehen, indem Sie den
EFFECT CHROUS- (28) bzw. EFFECT
REVERB-Taster (27) drücken. Chorus
und Reverb sind Effekte, die den
Klängen mehr Tiefe und Wärme
verleihen.

der A- und b-Gruppe aufrufen.

à gauche ou à droite simplement
quand vous jouez une note.
f) Les effets Chorus et Reverb
peuvent également étre ajoutés
en pressant le bouton
EFFECT CHORUS (28) ou le bouton
EFFECT REVERB (27).
De cette facon, tous les sons (Tones)
disponibles dans les groupes “A”
et ^b" ainsi que les différents
effets peuvent etre sélectionnés.
