Each Music Style contains the
following sections (Divisions):
e An Introduction (Intro)
e An Original Style pattern
* A Variation Style pattern
e A Fill-in ‘To Variation’ measure
* A Fill-in ‘To Original’ measure
e An Ending
The Music Style ‘Dance 1’ (15) will
be selected each time the E-38 is
turned on.
To select a different Music Style:
a) Choose a Music Style from the
Music Style Chart (12) printed on
the E-38's front panel. (Let us select
‘38’ Ballad 2).
b) In the MUSIC STYLE select
section (30), press the number ‘3’
button and then the number ‘8’
button. The number ‘38’ will appear
in the display and the STYLE
indicator (20) will light.
The Music Style ‘Ballad 2’ has now
been selected.
STARTING STYLE PLAYBACK
There are three ways to start Music
Style playback:
1) Press the START/STOP button
(45) and the Music Style will start
playing right away.
2) Press and hold the SYNCHRO
button (39) until the START LED
lights.
a) If the SPLIT ARRANGER (19) and
SPLIT LOWER (18) indicators are
dark (off), press any key to start the
Music Style.
b) If the SPLIT ARRANGER or SPLIT
LOWER indicator lights, press a key
in the left keyboard section to start
the Music Style.
Jeder Music Style beinhaltet folgende
Arrangement-Sektionen:
e Intro (Einleitung)
e Original-Begleitung
e Variation-Begleitung
e Fill-In to Variation
e Fill-In to Original
e Ending (Coda)
Beim Einschalten des E-38 wird
automatisch der Music Stvle 'Dance
1" (15) angewählt.
Anwahl eines anderen Music Styles:
a) Suchen Sie zunächst den
gewiinschten Music Style anhand der
Tabelle aus (z.B. “Ballad 2”=Nr. 38).
b) Wahlen Sie mit den MUSIC STYLE
SELECT-Tastern (30) die BANK und
NUMMER "38".
Diese Nummer erscheint im Display
und die STYLE-LED (20) leuchtet
konstant.
Der Music Style ‘Ballad 2’ ist nun
angewählt.
STARTEN DES MUSIC STYLES
Die Wiedergabe des gewählten
Music Styles kann auf drei Arten
gestartet werden:
1) Drücken Sie START/STOP (45). In
diesem Fall beginnt die Wiedergabe
sofort.
2) Halten Sie den SYNCHRO-Taster
(39) gedrückt, bis die START-LED
leuchtet.
a) Wenn weder die SPLIT
ARRANGER- (19) noch die LOWER-
LED (18) leuchtet, startet die
Begleitung, sobald Sie eine beliebige
Manualtaste drücken.
b) Wenn die SPLIT ARRANGER- oder
SPLIT LOWER-LED leuchtet, startet
der Style, sobald Sie eine Taste in der
linken Manualhälfte drücken.

L’instrument sélectionne
automatiquement le style 15=
Dance Та sa mise sous tension. Il
s'affichera.
Pour sélectionner un autre style,
suivez cette procédure:
a) Sélectionnez Ie style désiré dans
le tableau MUSIC STYLE (12) (par
exemple 38= Ballad 2).
b) Tapez le numéro 38 avec les
boutons MUSIC STYLE (30): le
numéro 38 s'affichera et la diode
STYLE (20) s’allumera.
L'instrument sélectionne
automatiquement ce nouveau style
avec son tempo pré-réglé.
Maintenant, le style peut étre lancé
de trois façons:
1) La première est:
Pressez le bouton START/STOP (45)
et le style commencera
immédiatement.
2) La deuxième est:
Pressez le bouton SYNCHRO (39)
pour que la diode START s'allume.
a) Si les diodes SPLIT ARRANGER
(19) et SPLIT LOWER (18) sont
éteintes, pressez simplement
n'importe quelle touche du clavier
et le style commencera.
b) Si la diode SPLIT ARRANGER (19)
ou SPLIT LOWER (18) est allumée,
pressez simplement une touche
située en partie gauche du clavier.
