Importing Audio Files from Your Computer
The Fantom-G can import audio files (WAV or AIFF format) from your computer and use them as samples.
You can also create a song simply by placing these samples in an audio track.
Audio files can be imported into the Fantom-G.
For the procedure, refer to
“Importing sounds (samples) from your computer”
(p. 20 of this
manual).
The Fantom-G provides a “realtime time stretch function.”
When using samples in an audio track, this function will keep the samples in synchronization even if you
change the sequencer tempo.
Example: Using samples that were recorded at 120 BPM
If you don’t know the tempo of the sample, use a metronome etc. to determine its tempo.
