Getting the update file
Please open/extract the downloaded “sh01_sys_v104.zip” file on your computer
to get the update files in the “sh01_sys_v104” folder.
Procedure for the update
Never power-off your GAIA SH-01 while the update is in progress!
Creating the Update USB memory
1. Using your computer, copy the “sh01_up.bin” file to the root directory (top
level) of your USB memory.
2. Un-mount the USB memory device through the correct procedure and
then disconnect it from the computer.
Update Procedure
1. With the GAIA SH-01's power turned off, connect your USB memory to
the GAIA SH-01.
2. Switch on the GAIA SH-01's power.
The update will begin automatically.
When the update begins, the [TAP TEMPO] button will blink green
and the NUMBER [1] - [8] buttons will blink in succession.
3. The update process will be done within a minute. When the update
is complete, the [TAP TEMPO] button will light orange and all of the
NUMBER [1] - [8] buttons will blink.
4. When you’ve verified that the update has been completed, turn off the
power.
5. Disconnect the USB memory from the GAIA SH-01.
6. Please verify the version number “1.04” with the procedure described
in “How to know the version” part of this document.
7. When the entire update process has been completed, connect the USB
memory to your computer and delete the file “sh01_up.bin” from USB
memory.
