Cancelling the Save of a Tone
You can cancel the save operation by doing one of the following.
• Press the [EXIT] button
• Press the [WRITE] button
About Screens for Saving Registrations/Live
Sets: When Synth Tones Have Been Edited
If Tone parameters have been edited, the check box on left of
the Tone name will be marked automatically when you save the
Registration or Live Set.
You have the option of saving the edited Tones at the same time
that you save the Registration or Live Set.
MEMO
If you save without selecting this check box, only the
Registration or Live Set will be saved. The Tones you’ve edited
will remain in their edited state without being saved.
1. If you want to save to a specied Tone number, move the
cursor to the edited Tone and select the desired number.
If you want to overwrite the current tone, proceed to the next step
without changing the writing destination.
2. Press the [F6] (WRITE) button.
A message will ask “Are you sure?”
3. To write the data, press the [F5] (OK) button.
A message will indicate “Completed!”
Initializing a SuperNATURAL Synth
Tone/Partial
Here’s how to initialize the currently selected SuperNATURAL Synth
Tone or Partial.
MEMO
• Initializing a SuperNATURAL Synth Tone or Partial will aect the
data in the temporary area (Owner’s Manual; p. 24).
• If you want to return the parameters of all sounds to their
factory-set values, use Factory Reset (Owner’s Manual; p. 79).
1. In the SYNTH EDIT screen, hold down the [SHIFT] button
and press the [F5] (PTL INIT) or [F6] (TONEINIT) button.
When you want to initialize a Partial, you rst need to select the
Partial by following the procedure given in “Selecting the Partial to
Edit” (p. 2).
If multiple Partials are selected, all of the selected Partials will be
initialized.
Button Explanation
[F5] (PTL INIT) Initializes the Partial.
[F6] (TONEINIT) Initializes the Tone.
A message will ask “Are you sure?”
2. To initialize, press the [F5] (OK)button.
Copying a Partial
Here’s how to copy the Partial settings from a SuperNATURAL
Synth Tone to the specied Partial of the currently selected
SuperNATURAL Synth Tone.
1. In the SYNTH EDIT screen, hold down the [SHIFT] button
and press the [F4] (PTL COPY) button.
The Synth Tone Partial Copy screen will appear.
2. As the Source, specify the copy-source SuperNATURAL
Synth Tone and Partial; as the Destination, specify the
copy-destination Partial.
Parameter Explanation
Source Bank
Selects the bank containing the Tone that is to be
the source for the copy from TEMP or USER.
TEMP Temporary area (Owner’s Manual; p. 24)
USER Tone stored in the USER bank
Source Number
Selects the Tone number when USER has been
selected for Source Bank.
Source Tone
Selects the Partial that is to be the source for the
copy.
Destination Tone
Selects the Partial that is to be the destination for
the copy.
NOTE
When you copy a Partial, the sound of the specied Destination
Partial will be lost, and overwritten by the sound of the specied
Source Partial.
3. Press the [F6] (Execute) button.
A message will ask “Are you sure?”
4. Press the [F5] (OK) button.
The sound of the specied Source layer will be copied to the
specied Destination layer.
