Sync Operation with External Devices
You can sync the R-1000 with video record/playback devices. The R-1000 will automatically start recording when it receives
timecode from the video recorder.
* In this example, the R-1000 records output from the V-Mixer’s REAC B port.
If the frame rate of the R-1000 does not match the external devices, recording cannot be carried out properly.

Connect master clock or timecode sources to the connectors as below.
VIDEO SYNC IN Connect Ref Out of the master clock.
SMPTE IN Connect TC Out of the video recorder.
