3. Memory Cartridge
By using Memory Cartridge M-64C
(optional) instead of an audio tape, saving
and loading can be done instantly and
more accurately.
[Operation]
First of all, to turn the TR-909 to the
Memory Cartridge mode, insert the
Memory Cartridge into the slot on the
ca
back panel, and hit the Enter Key.
eOnce the TR-909 is turned to this
Memory Cartridge mode, you can easily
save, load or play Rhythm Track data
saved on the Cartridge.
(11+ you wish to play Rhythm Tracks
externally by the Cartridge data.
(D Select a Rhythm Track (on the Car-
tridge) to be played by pressing a
Track Button.
@) Hit the Start Key.
(2)f you wish to save the data onto the
Cartridge.
(D Set the Protect Switch on the Car-
tridge to OFF.
@ While holding the Shift Button
down, press the Copy Key, the Save
Key, Bank Button (1 or 11), then
finally the Enter Key.
жТо save the data in Bank | of the TR-
909 into the Bank || of the Cartridge.
It is also made possible to play the
Rhythm Track of the TR-909 by the
data stored in the Cartridge externally
without loading the data back to the
TR-909.
Insert the M-64C to the
slot with its label and Pro-
tect Switch on the left (in
front view).
(D Assign Bank | of the TR-909 by pres-
sing the Bank Button | while holding
Shift Button.

press the Copy Key, the Save Key,
Bank Button (11), then finally the
Enter Key.
