Preparing the Camera for Use
Your digital camera needs a lithium-ion battery to work.
1. Slide the battery cover lever to the left and open the battery
compartment on the bottom of the camera.
2. Insert the battery into the camera as shown in the diagram.
3. Close the battery compartment by closing the flap and
sliding the battery compartment lever to the right.
When you switch on your camera, the battery symbol appears
at the bottom right of the LCD screen:
Full battery power
Medium battery power
Low battery power
