Preparing the Camera for Use
Format
Caution:
1. Formatting erases all data on the SD memory card, including protected data.
2. Do not remove the SD card during formatting as this may damage the card and make it
unusable.
3. When your card is full, download the media from the SD card to your PC and delete the
photos and videos. The photos and videos so you can continue to use your camera for high-
quality photos and videos.
4. To format the memory card, press the menu button twice to open the settings menu. Press
the Up or Down button to find ”Format“ and press OK button to enter the submenu. Select
”OK“ to format the memory card.
